PIC provides custom manufacturing of all ignition leads, shielded and open style harnesses, as well as custom pyrometer harnesses and thermocouples.
Ignition
High quality custom manufacturing of open style or shielded ignition harnesses, primary and secondary leads, harness recores and repairs. Custom designed to meet all natural gas engine requirements. Ignition accessory products include trigger disks, reluctor pins and spark plug extenders.
Temperature
PIC manufactures custom pyrometer harnesses for cylinder temperature measurement complete with all fittings and thermocouples. A complete line of temperature scanners, temperature guns and accessories are available to complete the system.
Repair Facilities
Repair and testing of all brands of magnetos and ignition systems, digital instruments, ignition coils and spark plugs is provided in our Edmonton facility.
Battery Boxes and 24VDC Generators
In remote applications the Class 1 Div 2 24VDC generator will provide power for engine ignition systems, electronic governors, control panels, communications systems, and intermittent plant lighting. The unit is belt driven from the engine pulley and is provided with standard mounting bracket and accessories.
PIC has designed a Class 1 Div 2 battery box for use with the 24VDC generator to meet the rigours of our climate and environment. Two 12 VDC flooded deep cycle batteries provide exceptional characteristics for output and recharging. The battery box comes complete with enclosure, batteries, vent and fuses necessary for installation of the generator to plant equipment. Optional undervoltage shutdown includes a pushbutton bypass for startup. Also available is gas detection interface.
